Road rage is real. MOST of the time it's a simple flip off.

This story out of Kansas City is horrific. This man lost his life which appears to be from road rage.

When you are out driving there are a couple of things to keep front of mind!

  1. Even if you are late, you will get there alive if you don't engage. (and don't drive like an A##!)
  2. When driving at night, in light traffic, leave room between you and the car in front of you in case you need to make an escape.
  3. Slow down, when possible... again, don't impede traffic... through major intersections. Just because you don't see lights coming doesn't mean there isn't a car coming and running that light.
  4. If you are in a crash, drive to a well lit area, preferably where there are lots of people. If a fire or police station is near by, that is best. DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR CAR at night alone. EVER. Who CARES if you seem "rude" or mean? We all have a phone, USE it
  5. If someone starts to rage at you, take an assessment of your situation. Are you in a locked car? Drive to safety. NOT home in many cases. If you are at a stop light and someone gets out and runs up to your car, you now have an advantage if you can at ALL get away. (See point 2)
  6. Bonus Tip: If you get in your car and THEN notice a note or some other item that makes you get out to remove... Don't. If it's important, who ever put it there probably secured it. If not, you can get it later in a safe area.
