On Friday, Major League Baseball announced it was pulling this year's All-Star Game out of Atlanta in protest of Georgia's new voting law. The game would have been played at Truist Park on July 13th.
·Former President Barack Obama, on Twitter, congratulated MLB for "taking a stand on behalf of voting rights for all citizens."
·Former President Donald Trump called on fans to boycott baseball and "all of the woke companies that are interfering with free and fair elections." He specifically mentioned Coke and Delta Airlines, which have also expressed opposition to the new law.
And my iPhone's maps feature has eliminated Georgia altogether, and dragged Wisconsin to the Deep South. The former Wisconsin territory now appears to be unincorporated.
