Mask Sign Warns of Your Grandma's Impending Death

A VINTAGE STORE IS GOING VIRAL FOR PUTTING UP A SIGN ABOUT FACE MASKS THAT GETS REAL DARK, REAL FAST

At least one store has gotten very creative with how they’re telling people to wear masks. Antique Sugar is a store selling vintage items in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. They reopened on June 1st, and were requiring people to wear face masks inside their store.

Now, the store has gone viral for a new sign they’ve posted outside the store. It reads, “If you choose not to wear a mask, we respectfully ask that you postpone your visit. We’ll be happy to debate the efficacy of masks with you when this is all over and you come in to sell your dead grandmother’s clothes.”

The store owner says they originally had up a “much sweeter” sign that said, “Thank you for wearing a mask. Help us stay healthy so we can stay open,” but people ignored it and would come in and argue instead—and the owner got tired of having the same conversation over and over.
