APPLE’S IPHONES ARE ACCUSED OF BEING SEXIST DUE TO BIGGER SCREENS
Apple’s new iPhone XS line is being accused of being sexist due to their biggest screens. The screens range from 5.8 inches to 6.5 inches. Some women took to Twitter to complain about the new screens, saying that the device is too large for the average female hand.
Sociology professor Zeynep Tufekci tweeted, “Women like me with small hands who need the most secure phone for safety reasons are stuck with something they can’t hold and constantly risk dropping. Some people like the bigger phones. Fine. Keep an alternative for the rest of us.”
Another woman tweeted, “I can’t grow my hands any bigger. Please make a smaller [iPhone].”
