GOOGLE ASSISTANT IS THE SMARTEST ONE
Digital assistants are all the rage right now, and a new study finds Google Assistant is the smartest of them all, followed by Siri, Cortana and Alexa.
The LoupVentures study had researchers ask the four digital assistant 800 questions each. They found all assistants were great at understanding the questions (Google Assistant understood 100%, Apple's Siri understood 99% and and Microsoft's Cortana and Amazon's Alexa each understood 98%.) And Google Assistant correctly answered 85.5 percent of the questions, while Siri answered 78.5 percent correctly, Alexa got 61.4 percent right, and Cortana only managed to get 52.4 percent correctly.
The study showed big improvements for all digital assistants since the last test, which was conducted in April, but they're all still far from perfect. Also, researchers noted that "nearly every misunderstood question involved a proper noun, often the name of a local town or restaurant."
