Fat-Shamed Teen Gets Revenge on Customer By Buying All of Bakery's Cupcakes
An Indiana 19-year-old let out her petty after a customer behind her in line at a bakery fat-shamed her, getting revenge by buying all the cupcakes in the store. Vega Blossom was at a Valparaiso bakery on Saturday when she overheard the woman behind her say, "Let's hope this fat b**ch doesn't buy all the cupcakes."
Blossom, who wears a size 22, told Caters News she felt like crumbling when she heard it, but then decided the best thing she could do that would teach them a lesson was to buy all the cupcakes. She'd only been planning to buy six of them, but instead bought all 20 the store had, spending $54.
She said the woman and her friend sneered at her as she walked out, saying, "I looked the pair straight in the eye and asked, 'Could you please open the door for me? My hands are a bit full." She told Caters, "Hopefully, this was a lesson in treating others kindly and maybe a lesson in karma as well."
Blossom posted about the incident on Facebook, writing, "Tonight, I was really petty. I bought every damn cupcake," and the post has gotten some 79,000 likes and 26,000 shares.
