Conservative Host Urges FLOTUS to Move On

Conservative Cable Host Urges Melania to Leave Trump, Not Repeat Hillary Clinton's 'Mistake'

Conservative commentator S.E. Cupp, who's an HLN cable host, wrote a New York Daily News op-ed yesterday in which she urged First Lady Melania Trump to divorce her husband, President Trump, over his cheating. She says Melania could set an example for, quote, "a generation of young girls" and avoid repeating what Cupp said was Hillary Clinton's "mistake" of not leaving her husband because of his infidelities.

She compares Trump now being accused of having a 2006 affair with porn star Stormy Daniels with reports of former President Bill Clinton's affairs. She wrote, "Over those years, Hillary became for me what she became for many women -- the literal definition of 'Stand by Your Man.' While feminists trotted her out as a role model for strong women, all I saw was a woman who was humiliated time and again and, for reasons either personal or political, decided to take it."

Cupp says of Melania: "While it's hard to imagine she didn't know who she married, she's also just a woman, wife, and mother like the rest of us. There's a real person in there, and she must be reeling."
