Some Parents Pull Kids From Class Because of Surprise Ivanka Trump Visit
Some parents at a Connecticut school pulled their children out of class over an unannounced visit by Ivanka Trump.
President Trump's daughter, who's also a senior White House adviser, spent Monday morning at the Norwalk Early College Academy talking about the important of education in the sciences, technology, engineering and math, as part of her tour pushing for STEM and computer science education in classrooms.
But some parents, who are opposed to her father, removed their children from class, and complained that they received little information about Ivanka's visit.
