STUDENT WILL DRESS LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE FOR THE REST OF THE SEMESTER, THANKS TO TWITTER
One thing is clear, people on social media will jump at the chance to make a stranger humiliate themselves. University of Alabama student Kelsey Hall posted a photo of herself dressed as a Christmas tree with the promise that she would wear the costume for the rest of the semester in exchange for 1,000 retweets. She ended up with over 26,000 retweets, and replied to her original post with "Guys I really don't want to do this."
She told People that the costume was a gift from her mother and she thought the photo would be funny, but didn't think she'd actually see 1,000 retweets. She's been posting photographic evidence of her promise fulfilled since December 4th.
