The next NewsRadio 1110 KFAB Gourmet Club will be an end-of-the-summer party with great food, refreshing beer, and live music on Tuesday, August 8th, 6:30pm at the new Growler USA at 162nd and West Maple!

Mars, Brent, BJ, and the entire staff of beer experts will guide us through the beer adventure, provide us an array of fun menu options, and welcome Jason Birnstihl of The 9's to the "step" for a musical performance that will perfectly compliment the party we're throwing for KFAB Nation that evening!

Brent describes the menu and beer selections each guest will enjoy on 8/8:

Guest arrives to a Shorty (4oz.) of a craft cider (choice from a few) and Shorty beer of their choice from over 90 craft beers.

Guest has choice of 3 appetizers:

DENVER-STYLE AHI

Thinly-sliced ahi tuna topped with ponzu soy sauce, sliced jalapeño coins and fresh cilantro leaves.

BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP 

Roasted chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, mozzarella and cheddar cheese garnished with Parmesan and green onions. Served with warm naan bread.

HUMINA-HUMINA HUMMUS

Jalapeño and cilantro hummus with just a smidge of heat. Served with Kalamata olives, seasonal vegetables and warm naan bread.

A choice of a pilsner or hefeweizen Shorty with the appetizer.

Guest has choice of the following entrees:

CHICKEN & WAFFLES 

Two Belgian waffles topped with southern-fried, beer-battered chicken, sunny side egg, maple syrup, honey butter and sliced green onions.

CRUSTED MAHI-MAHI 

Lightly breaded and pan seared mahi-mahi served with sweet coleslaw, Growler Veggies and chimichurri.

ULTIMATE BACON CHEESEBURGER

Thick-cut bacon topped with your choice of Tillamook cheddar, aged Swiss cheese or gouda cheese.

MUSHROOM & SWISS BURGER

Sautéed mushrooms, Swiss cheese and mayo.

INFERNO BURGER

Roasted green chili and jalapeño relish, thick-cut white cheddar cheese and kickin’ aioli.

A choice of IPA/Red/Brown Ale Shorty with the entrée.

Chocolate Overload Torte for dessert with a choice of a flavored stout/porter Shorty and one last Shorty beer of choice.
