Deputy Mark Burbridge's Facebook page shows that he loved his "HOT wife" (a term he used repeatedly), a young fishing buddy (I presume that to be his son), motorcycles, and jorts. He has a makeshift award posted there, allegedly from a "Ted Nugent camp," where he claimed to be the hot dog eating champion.
And, nearly two years ago, he posted the image of the Omaha police badge, covered in a black band in the wake of Officer Orozco's passing.
Deputy Burbridge was killed in the line of duty yesterday, after 12 years on the Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Department. He was 43.
