Songbirds Migrate In Mass Across Midwest

(IA, NE) -- Today is the day for songbirds. 376-million songbirds flew south from Canada and Minnesota into the Midwest overnight Tuesday night on their fall migration.

They stop to rest and eat when the sun rises. Backyards in Iowa and Eastern Nebraska see likely filled with hungry birds today.

Tuesday night was one of the biggest for songbird migration.
