(Iowa City, IA) -- The University of Iowa is looking for people to drink and drive.

UI's Driving Safety Research Institute needs people to join a study to test vehicle sensors that can detect alcohol impairment.

Participants need to be willing to make four trips to Coralville, including an overnight stay.

They'll be paid $820 to get drunk inside a driving simulator to determine the effectiveness of systems to monitor when a driver is drowsy, distracted, or impaired by alcohol or cannabis.
