The City of Omaha announces the headliner for the annual Memorial Park Free Concert and Fireworks Show.
"Ringo Starr and his 'All Starr' Band" will perform Friday June 27th in the traditional lead up to the Fourth of July.
"Mike Campbell and the Dirty Knobs" will start the entertainment at 6:45 that evening.
Mike Campbell was a member of the Heartbreakers, a band he co-founded with Tom Petty.
The fireworks show will light up the skies immediately following the concert.
The event is sponsored by the City of Omaha, Douglas County, the Omaha Parks Foundation, and exclusive radio partner NewsRadio 1110 KFAB.
