The Police Athletics for Community Engagement (PACE) is expanding its program schedule from seasonal to more year-round activities, adding sports like basketball, chess, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and mountain biking. PACE aims to serve more communities and is adding new partners, such as the Omaha Fire and Police Departments. PACE is a non-profit that offers athletic sports and program opportunities with the goal of building positive relationships between police, firefighters, first responders, and community members.
