A Cold Weather Advisory will be in effect with wind chills as low as 25 below from eleven Wednesday evening until 9 a.m. Thursday for portions of east central, northeast, and southeast Nebraska and southwest, and west central Iowa.

The Omaha National Weather Service in Valley says wind chills will be very cold through Thursday morning, with the warmest wind chills all day today remaining below 0.

The coldest wind chills Thursday morning will range from 20 to 25 degrees below 0.

Forecasters say this will be particularly dangerous for anyone who might become stranded on the snowy roads.

The weather service says another shot of cold air arrives late Saturday, with Sunday morning wind chills again near -20 degrees.
