(Omaha, NE) -- A troubled Omaha bar will have a few more weeks to keep its liquor license. The Omaha City Council agreed to an extension of a hearing over the matter until February 11th.
Bill Bianco, an attorney for the Krush Ultra Lounge and its owner Tony Pham, requested the continuance in order to review a large quantity of evidence received from the city Tuesday morning.
"We have a box of evidence, and I also have a CD thumb drive with twenty hours of evidence," Bianco said, "it will take us some time to go through that, and we'd appreciate a few weeks to do that."
Omaha City Attorney David Grauman says any further incidents will be reported at the next meeting.
"I will supplement the record as any additional tavern reports, incident reports, or other things we consider relevant evidence, if they do come to light, I'll make Mr. Bianco aware and present those as well," Grauman told the council.
Krush Ultra Lounge previously received a 30-day suspension of alcohol sales, but later reached a deal with the city to keep serving after paying a fine. It comes after numerous complaints, police calls, and a shooting last fall that injured a man.
