(Lincoln, NE) -- Nebraska lawmakers are one step closer to passing a permitless carry law. The bill passed the second round of debate on Tuesday. It would allow anyone in Nebraska 21 and older to carry a concealed weapon without a permit. It would not change any existing laws involving buying guns and would still limit where people can carry them. The bill now heads to the final round of debate. Last year a similar measure failed to get to this stage.
