Lincoln Inmate Back In Custody

An inmate who disappeared from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln is now back in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services.

Edgar Vidales-Ramirez left the facility the evening of Thursday, November 18th, and on Monday of this week, law enforcement notified the Corrections Department that he was in Omaha.

Vidales-Ramirez started his sentence on June 29th, 2020.

He was sentenced to three years and four months on charges out of Douglas County that include assault by strangulation, child abuse and escape.

He has a tentative release date of December 18th this year.
