Ankeny Man Charged in Chicago Gun Case Explains Guns

Prisoner

(Chicago, IL) -- The man from Ankeny who was arrested after guns were found in his Chicago hotel room says he was trying to follow the law. Police recently released video of Keegan Casteel being questioned after his arrest. He says he left a rifle with a scope, a handgun, and ammunition in his hotel room because they were in his beach bag and he couldn't take them with him. A hotel worker found the guns on a window ledge overlooking Lake Michigan over Fourth of July weekend. Casteel's charged with two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and is free on bond.
