OMAHA, Nebraska - Bond is set at $100,000 for 32, year old David Kenney who is facing charges in an injury hit-and-run Sunday morning on I-680 and West Center Road.
Investigators say that a Chevy Tahoe had overheated and pulled over on the shoulder. A woman got out and was hit by a Dodge Ram pickup. That driver left the scene and others followed the pickup to 126th and Pierce. That is where police made contact with Kenney who said he thought he hit something but decided to continue driving.
Kenney was booked on leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and will be back in court on December 9th.
6 News reports the woman hit suffered life-threatening injuries.
