A Lincoln radio personality is facing domestic assault charges.41 year old Matthew Rydberg, otherwise known as Matt McKay on KFRX was arrested over the weekend and officially charged on Monday. Rydberg was arrested at his home.
Police say a 46 year old woman, identified as his wife, had gone to sleep in the children's room after an argument.She said he apparently had been drinking.
The woman told police that Rydberg pushed down on her neck and she was unable to breathe. He also pushed her face, hit her nose and shoved her. Police say she had areas of redness and scratches.
Rydberg is also charged with strangulation, a felony.He appeared in court Monday.
