Reward Grows To $172,000 For Missing Iowa Woman

During a news conference on Thursday the family of missing Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts said the reward for her safe return has grown to $172,000.

Tibbetts' mother says the Bring Mollie Tibbetts Home Safe Reward Fund has been established through a local bank.

Tibbetts was last seen on July 18 when she was jogging in her hometown of Brooklyn, just west of Iowa City.  Her family reported her missing the next day after she didn't show up to work. Since then, local, state and federal investigators have tried to determine what happened.

Laura Calderwood believes her daughter is still alive and urges anyone with information to call the tip line 1-800-452-1111 or submit tips through the Crimestoppers of Central Iowa website.
