Before the eight teams competing in the 2018 CWS take the field, fans will have a chance to see the players up close during free Opening Celebration festivities on Friday.
The day long free activities begin at 9:10 a.m. with team practices followed by team autograph sessions.

9:10 - 10 a.m. -- Oregon State open team practice
10:10 - 11 a.m. -- North Carolina open team practice
10:30 - 11:15 a.m. -- Oregon State team autograph session at the third base concourse
11:10 a.m. - noon -- Mississippi State open team practice
11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. -- North Carolina team autograph session at the first base concourse
12:10 - 1 p.m. --Washington open team practice
12:30 - 1:15 p.m. -- Mississippi State team autograph session at the third base concourse
1:10 - 2 p.m. -- Arkansas open team practice
1:30 - 2:15 p.m. -- Washington team autograph session at the first base concourse
2:10 - 3 p.m. -- Texas open team practice
2:30 - 3:15 p.m. -- Arkansas team autograph session at the third base concourse
3:10 - 4 p.m. -- Florida open team practice
3:30 - 4:15 p.m. -- Texas team autograph session at the third base concourse
4:10 - 5 p.m. -- Texas Tech open practice
4:30 - 5:15 p.m. -- Florida team autograph session at the third base concourse
5:30 - 6:15 p.m. -- Texas Tech team autograph session at the first base concourse
The CWS Fan Fest presented also will open Friday morning and provide family-friendly entertainment, including NCAA-sport interactive games, photo opportunities and prizes.
Evening activities will kick off with a parade of the eight teams marching east from Creighton University’s Morrison Stadium on Mike Fahey Street. The teams will enter the stadium around 8:45 p.m. where they will be introduced Olympic style. Also performing will be the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team, which will be followed by the LOCASH concert and the grand fireworks finale.
Public parking is available for Opening Celebration Day at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha/CenturyLink Center, Creighton University or city-owned lots in the downtown Omaha area. Metro’s circulator routes also will be available.
