Papio/Missouri River NRD General Manager John Winkler says high water along the Missouri combined with an ice jam on the Platter will cause flooding problems that could go from bad to worse in the next few days along waterways throughout the region. UPDATE: About an hour after this interview, John Winkler told us that the ice jam on the Platte had broken up on it's own overnight. eliminating the need to use explosives to break it up.
