A recent incident at UNL in which a student representing Turning Point USA was verbally attacked by a faculty member and grad assistant is an illustration of the types of free speech turmoil that has spread to college campuses across the country. Roger Ream, President of the Fund for American Studies explains this is caused by students not being educated in civics, economics, and critical thinking.
