Nebraska, Iowa, and about a dozen other states are trying to lure Toyota to build a $1.6 billion plant to build Toyota and Mazda vehicles. David Brown, President of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, says a large number of people are working on site selection and proposals for the plant which would employ about 4600 people and be situated on a 1000 acre site. No word if Toyota Jan is part of the deal.
