Ricketts Seeks to Cut Red Tape in State Government

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts signed an order Thursday directing all state agencies to review all regulations in place prior to November and placed a moratorium on most new regulations in the interim. The goal being to reduce the red tape of dealing with state agencies.  He also addressed the troubles that caused him to dismiss State Patrol Colonel Bradley Rice and put six others in command on paid leave pending an investigation of the Patrol.
