NU Regent Says Tuition Jump Not As Bad as First Thought

NU Regent Hal Daub says that despite a cut in state support and spending cuts, the NU Board of Regents will likely approve a proposed tuition increase announced Tuesday of about 5.4% for 2017-18 and 3.2% for 2018-19 for all four NU campuses (Lincoln, Omaha, Kearney, and UNMC). A bigger increase had been anticipated prior to the announcement by NU President Hank Bounds.
