(Omaha, NE) -- A new regional partnership is making mental health resources more accessible across the Omaha metro. Douglas and Sarpy/Cass health officials have relaunched their digital mental wellbeing platform, Heartland CredibleMind (heartland.crediblemind.com). It is a free online platform offering 24/7 support for issues like stress, anxiety, grief, parenting, and burnout.

According to a news release, users can take confidential self-assessments, browse expert-reviewed articles and videos, and connect with local support services, including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

"Mental wellbeing does not stop at county lines," said Leah Casanave, DrPH, MPH, Division Chief of Community Health, Nutrition and Clinical Services. "By joining forces with Sarpy/Cass Health Department, we are breaking down silos to make proven, accessible resources available in one central location. Heartland CredibleMind empowers our residents with proactive, science-backed support before challenges become crises."

Key features of the upgraded Heartland CredibleMind platform include:

● Evidence-Based Library: Access to thousands of scientifically vetted articles, podcasts, videos, apps, and books reviewed by mental health experts.

● Confidential Self-Assessments: Quick, private screenings to help individuals assess stress levels, emotional wellness, anxiety, and resilience.

● Actionable Strategies: Personalized recommendations and skill-building guides tailored to individual goals and lifestyle needs.

● Local & Crisis Resources: Immediate connections to local community organizations and 24/7 crisis hotlines, including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
