Omaha Police say officers arrested a 31-year-old man for his role in a shooting that injured two people at 144th and Fort late Tuesday night.

Officers responded to a Mega Saver at that location around 11:30 p.m. and found a 48-year-old man down at the scene.

Omaha Fire Paramedics took the victim to a hospital.

Officers were told a second victim had left the area in a private vehicle.

That victim, a 23-year-old man, also ended up hospitalized.

Both victims' injuries appear to be non-life threatening.

Officers were given a description of the suspect vehicle, found it rolling near 108th and Blondo, and made a traffic stop.

Officers took David Seyler into custody and booked him at Douglas County Corrections on suspicion of 1st-degree assault, terroristic threats, and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

The investigation continues.
