Omaha Fire Receives Pet Oxygen Masks

"Invisible Fence of the Heartland" is donating 24 pet oxygen mask kits to the Omaha Fire Department to help provide emergency care to pets rescued from fires and other life-threatening situations.

The company first donated pet oxygen masks to the Omaha Fire Department in 2010 through Invisible Fence Brand’s "Project Breathe" program, which was established with the goal of equipping every fire station in America and Canada with pet oxygen masks.

When the department reached out for additional kits "Invisible Fence of the Heartland" was happy to facilitate 24 more pet oxygen mask kits to replace ones that may have been damaged or lost.

The pet oxygen masks are designed to deliver oxygen safely and effectively to animals experiencing smoke inhalation, respiratory distress, or other emergencies.

Having appropriately sized oxygen masks available can give first responders an important tool when every second matters.
