'Help Wanted' Sign At Douglas County Election Commission

The Douglas County Election Commission is hiring temporary customer service positions to assist voters with early voting and voter registration.

The pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Hours of work are 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with some evening and Saturday hours. The positions begin the week of September 14th, 2026 and last 7 weeks.

Applicants must be Nebraska registered voters or be eligible to register to vote. They must type 40 words per minute and have computer experience, possess strong attention to detail, and be able to pass a drug test, and criminal records check. Customer service experience is preferred.

The jobs are at the Douglas County Election Commission office located at 12220 W Center Road at the northwest corner of 120th St. and W Center Rd in Bel Air Plaza.
