(Omaha, NE) -- Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen says a Nebraska man is among several people across the country arrested and charged in connection with an alleged plot to carry out an attack to kill government officials and others attending the UFC fight at the White House on Sunday.
The Justice Department says the attack was to involve drone-delivered explosives followed by shooting survivors as they fled the scene.
The Governor says one of the key ringleaders was identified by the FBI in Nebraska. The person is identified in reports as Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez of Omaha.
The Governor praised the Nebraska State Patrol for their work in supporting the FBI with this investigation.
