More than 450 employees to be laid off from Kellogg's Omaha plant by August

Kellogg's will be laying off the remaining 450-plus employees at its Omaha plant later this year.

In a letter to the Nebraska Department of Labor, the company said 100 workers will be let go between July 20th and August 3rd, with the remaining losing their jobs between August 4th and August 18th.

Kellogg's says affected employees will receive severance.

The complex at 96th and F streets will be put up for sale.
