Firefighters Busy In Northwest Metro Omaha

The Omaha Fire Department continues to investigate after firefighters responded to a fire in a house at 106th and Parker Streets during the noon hour Tuesday.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a small fire and quickly extinguished it.

One adult was taken to a hospital from the scene, and three people were displaced.

No additional injuries have been reported at this time.

Then around 1:20 p.m., Bennington Fire and Rescue, with help from Irvington, Omaha, and Boys Town, responded to a blaze in a home near 148th and Redick Avenue.

Two people were taken to a hospital to be checked out.
