The University of Nebraska System and Creighton University are among thousands of educational institutions dealing with a vendor's IT security issue as Spring Semesters wrap up and commencement exercises begin.
Thursday evening, Creighton issued this statement:
"Creighton is experiencing an outage affecting "Canvas," our learning management system, due to a security incident impacting the vendor. This issue is affecting educational institutions nationwide.
We are closely monitoring developments. Our priority is minimizing disruption to students, faculty, and staff while ensuring continuity of instruction and academic operations."
