A suspect in a 1990 double murder in Houston dies while in custody in Nebraska.

Investigators say 64-year- old Floyd Parrott was found unresponsive Tuesday in his cell in the Lancaster County Jail, and correctional staff attempted life-saving measures.

Parrot was arrested in Lincoln in March in connection with the murders of 21-year -old Andy Atkinson and 22-year- old Cheryl Henry, and was awaiting extradition back to Harris County, Texas.
