(Council Bluffs, IA) -- A Council Bluffs man is convicted in a nearly 40 -year -old murder case.
A jury found Robert Davis guilty in the 1989 killing of Barbara Lenz, who disappeared from Harrison County, Iowa.
Davis, her boyfriend at the time, was arrested in March 2025 after an Iowa Cold Case Unit investigation.
The jury returned a verdict in under four hours.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 22nd.
