Omaha Police say officers arrested a 28-year-old woman on suspicion of driving under the influence in connection with a crash that injured three people at Fontenelle Boulevard and Maple Street late Tuesday.

Officers went to the scene around 10:15 p.m. and found a damaged Chevy Impala and Nissan Rogue.

OPD Crash Investigators determined the Rogue was westbound on Maple Street and failed to yield to a flashing red traffic signal. The Rogue entered the intersection and collided with the northbound Impala.

Omaha Fire Paramedics took the front seat passenger of the Rogue to the hospital with critical injuries.

Medics took the driver of the Impala and back seat passenger in the Rogue to the hospital with non-life- threatening injuries.

The investigation continues.
