(Omaha, NE) -- The number of Gen Z homeowners is on the increase in Omaha.
A study by RentCafe shows Omaha is fourth in the nation for 20-something homeowners, who multiplied by 44 times in five years.
9,156 Gen Z'ers had purchased houses in Omaha by 2023.
The report notes housing costs are well below the national average and jobs for young professionals make it worth settling down here.
The top trending metros for Gen Z homeowners were Tucson, Arizona and Jacksonville, Florida.
