U.S. Army Releases Names Of Soldiers Killed During Operation Epic Fury

Omaha Police on Saturday will assist in escorting the body of U.S. Army Master Sergeant Noah Tietjens to Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Sergeant Tietjens, a Bellevue native killed earlier this month by a drone strike in Kuwait in the war with Iran, is coming home and will arrive at Eppley Airfield Saturday around 1:00 pm.

Access will be closed to the area of the airport where Sergeant Tietjens will be arriving, but citizens are encouraged to show their support along the route of the motorcade.

The procession will start at Lindberg Drive and Storz Expressway and travel north on the Expressway to Sorenson Parkway; Sorenson Parkway to 56th St., and 56th St. to the north until the arrival at the entrance of Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Services for Sgt. Tietjens will be late next week.
