Iowa DOT Reopens Highways Following Blizzard

Iowa Prepares For State's Caucuses, As Large Snowstorm Descends On The State

(Des Moines, IA) -- A number of Interstates in Iowa have reopened to traffic following the blizzard.

I-35 from Ames to the Minnesota state line is opened in both directions.

I-80 from Council Bluffs to West Des Moines is also reopened to motorists.

I-80 from the Altoona exit to Iowa City opened back up to traffic in both directions as of noon.

And the Saylorville Lake Mile Long Bridge reopened Monday morning.
