Another Nebraska Earthquake Reported

Severe Midwest Drought Continues

(Cowles, NE) -- There was another earthquake in south central Nebraska.

The U.S. Geological Survey reports a magnitude 2.5 earthquake was at 7:15 local time Thursday morning about two-and-half miles southeast of Cowles, a village in Webster County near the Kansas border.

On March 1st, a magnitude 4.1 earthquake was centered three miles east of Cowles, with tremors being felt in Lincoln and Omaha/Council Bluffs.
