(Des Moines, IA) -- A student who was stabbed at a Des Moines Middle School is hospitalized in serious condition.
Des Moines Police say one student was injured and another detained by police. It happened this morning at Brody Middle School on Park Avenue.
A spokesperson for the district says the injured student was taken to a hospital with a stab wound to the shoulder.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
