The NDOT Highway Safety Office is now accepting proposals for traffic safety grants to help reduce fatal and serious crash rates across the Cornhusker State.
Proposals must be submitted no later than March 31st for consideration.
Funding will cover projects during Federal Fiscal Year 2027, which runs from Oct.1st this year through Sept. 30th, 2027.
The funding is provided through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
NDOT says many organizations, including government agencies, political subdivisions, law enforcement agencies, and 501(c)3 non-profit organizations, are eligible for funding.
