(United States) -- More than a dozen makes and models are under a “do not drive” warning due to faulty airbags. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says vehicles equipped with Takata airbags should not be driven until repairs are made.

New test data shows the airbags are defective and have a significantly higher risk of rupturing during deployment, which can cause serious injuries or death.
