An overnight fire in Omaha is investigated.
The fire was around 11:30 Sunday night at an unsecured and vacant residential structure near Park Avenue and Jackson Street, and it led to a precautionary "Mayday" call when a firefighting crew on the second floor was temporarily unable to find an exit.
They eventually found one, and no injuries were reported.
Omaha Fire says prior reports indicate unauthorized occupants had been repeatedly removed from the residence.
