Omaha Police Detectives are investigating a robbery and attempted robbery in the same time frame and geographic area.
They are looking for a man involved in an attempted business robbery at 38th and Hamilton Streets.
Officers went to the Express Mart around 12:20 a.m. Thursday for a report of an armed party.
Officers spoke with an employee, who said a man pointed a handgun at him and demanded money, but left the store without receiving any cash.
The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20s wearing all black clothing.
Late Wednesday night, the NP Mart at 52nd and Northwest Radial Highway was robbed.
An employee said the suspect approached him, pointed a pistol at him, and demanded money.
The suspect took cash and left on foot to the south.
The suspect is described as a man wearing all black clothing.
