Driver Who Hit Pedestrian At Student Demonstration In Fremont Identified

(Fremont, NE) -- Police have identified a juvenile driver who hit a pedestrian was hit by an SUV at a student protest at Fremont High School Thursday.

A vehicle flying a Trump flag hit a girl and sped away from the scene at Fremont High. That's according to a video posted on X by Congressman Mike Flood.

The Nebraska Republican condemns the incident, saying people should be allowed to protest safely. Fremont police say the pedestrian was transported for medical care.

Charges are pending against the driver.

The condition of the pedestrian is not known.
